Welcome to the Iberian Peninsula! Set in 1848, Pandemic Iberia asks you to take on the roles of nurse, railwayman, rural doctor, sailor, and more to find the cures to malaria, typhus, the yellow fever, and cholera.

From Barcelona to Lisboa, you will need to travel by carriage, by boat, or by train to help the Iberian populace. While doing so, distributing purified water and developing railways will help you slow the spread of diseases in this new version of Pandemic.

Discover a unique part of the world during a historically significant time period: the construction of the first railroad in the Iberian Peninsula during the Spring of Nations.

The game comes with two variants that can be added :

Influx of Patients : the cubes, representing patients, will tend to flock to hospitals to try to get cured. Hospitals also are a bit more powerful.
Historical Diseases : instead of being generic, each disease has a specific power to better represent what it is (Malaria, Cholera, Yellow Fever etc.)

A nice twist on the original formula

The original Pandemic is a classic played by many, but its replayability is only dependant on the random setup and character skills. This one brings a few new elements that allow groups to adjust the difficulty level of the game (virus variant cards), as well as new mechanics like railroads and water.
It is still Pandemic though, so if you didn't like the original, this one will probably not change your mind.

I recommend this over the original game. Get one if you find it!

Not Bad.

Although I would say it's a better game than base Pandemic, I find the formula still flawed with too many random elements players can't mitigate.

Great light fun

Light enough to play with my kids, deep enough to enjoy with a group of adults (plays really well at 3). Lovely artwork. Check this one out!

Easy to learn, good depth of play, quality construction, would recommend it for your two player collection

New game - Rauha

Really great new game with beautiful artwork. We discovered this game online and it has become our new favourite game. It is not overly difficult to learn and we are slowing learning all the nuances.

Absolutely Fantastic

It truly is an enjoyable two person game and that is hard to come by sometimes. It is a game that inspires an air of role playing and is fantastic for hardcore Dune fans and non fans alike. Personally, I don't enjoy solo mode but the app does allow the ability to do so. This is definitively a personal preference only. I will be buying the expansions and uncharacteristically of me, the upgrade pack.

Theme is What Makes This Game

The theme is what makes this game. It won't be that great of game without the theme. With the theme it was decently fun.
